According to Who Profits, closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras manufactured by Sony are used in Mabat 2000, a visual surveillance system that Israel deployed in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem.
Sony surveillance cameras have also been used at Israeli military checkpoints in the besieged Gaza Strip, as documented by Who Profits. Company products—including cameras, photo lenses, and microphones—were also purchased by the Israeli Ministry of Defense as recently as 2022.
